Abstract
Spectroscopy experiments with classical light are limited by shot nois e. It is possible to go beyond this limit using quantum correlated lig ht beams, for example twins beams produced by an optical parametrical oscillator. This is a way to improve the signal to noise ratio of the measurement. This property will be demonstrated by a stimulated Raman spectroscopy experiment in nitrogen.
