Abstract
We realized a diode-pumped solid-state multipass Nd:YAG amplifier demo nstrating 46,5 % extraction efficiency near saturation. This amplifier allowed the amplification of CW as well as pulsed radiations at 1064 nm. Small signal gain higher than 30 dB were measured with 1,24 W of p ump power. Extracted power in excess of 1,1 W were obtained at 3 W pum p level.
