Abstract
Laser-cooled Ca+ ions confined in a Paul trap an one of the most promi sing candidates for a frequency standard in the optical domain. We rep ort on laser-cooling of different ion clouds (3 to 10(4) ions) and obs ervation of cristallisation of a few particles.
