The authors compare the efficiency of three experimental inactivated a
queous vaccines against Salmonella typhimurium infection in pigeons. A
s shown by the sere-conversion and mortality/morbidity rate after chal
lenge, the three vaccines confer an excellent protection and inhibit t
he Salmonella multiplication in animals and therefore help to control
dissemination of the infection.
