Abstract
The design, construction, and experimental test results of a new solid -state oscillator with whispering-gallery-mode dielectric resonators i s described. The oscillator with a semidisk resonator was designed for dielectric-wave-guide-based circuits. In their fabrication it is poss ible to use hybrid-integrated technology techniques. Mechanically tuna ble oscillators and multidiode oscillators with a cylindrical resonato r are also considered. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
