Abstract
The three independent amplitudes describing the decay of orthopositron ium to three photons are evaluated in analytic form to one-loop order. The amplitudes are used to obtain the order-alpha and order-(2) ''squ are'' contributions to the orthopositronium decay rate as integrals ov er the two-dimensional phase space. The results for the decay rate con tributions are Gamma(1) = -10.286 606(10) (alpha/pi)Gamma(LO) and Gamm a(2)(square) = 28.860(2) (alpha/pi)(2) Gamma(LO), where Gamma(LO) is t he lowest order rate.
