Abstract
The mid-infrared spectrum of the nu(1)(a') band at 3325.42 cm(-1) of t he deuterium substituted propynal molecule C2H . CDO was recorded at a resolution of about 0.08 cm(-1). A detailed analysis of the partially resolved band was completed using computer simulation techniques lead ing to the derivation of the values for the changes in the rotational constants on excitation (A ''-A'), (B ''-B') and (C ''-C').
