Abstract
The Al-Ni-Fe decagonal quasicrystalline phase is thermodynamically sta ble between about 847 and 930 degrees C. The features of its transform ation below 847 degrees C into three neighboring crystalline phases (A l-13(Fe, Ni)(4), Al3Ni2(Fe), and Al3Ni(Fe)) are reported.
