Abstract
Following the previous studies on caesaldekarins a (1) and b (2), the chemical structures of three additional cassane-type furanoditerpenes named caesaldekarins c (3), d (4), and e (5), isolated from the roots of Caesalpinia major (Fabaceae) collected in Flores Island, Indonesia, have been elucidated on the bases of physicochemical evidence and che mical derivations. several interesting NBS (N-bromosuccinimide) reacti on products of 1 have the been elucidated.
