Abstract
We present the results of systematic photoemission and inverse-photoem ission studies of strongly correlated metallic systems which have one- , two- and three-dimensional crystal structures. The spectral weight d istribution exhibits characteristic evolution as a function of band wi dth and band filling as well as of mass anisotropy. Mass enhancement i s deduced from the weight transfer between the coherent and incoherent parts of the spectral function. Chemical potential shift as a functio n of band filling exhibits an unusual suppression near Mott transition .
