Abstract
The synthesis and antitumor properties of pyrimido[4,5-b]quinolines ha ve been described starting from -arylamino-5-carboxy-2-hydroxy-6-methy lpyrimidines by reaction with PPA or POCl3. The reduced pyrimidoquinol ines and derivatives with alkylating function have also been obtained.
