Abstract
The use of a nitric acid solution and a 30% solution of hydrogen perox ide with a microwave digestion method was shown to give cadmium recove ries in the range 95-107% when digesting fish. Accuracy was establishe d using National Institute of Science & Technology standard reference oyster tissue and was found to be satisfactory. (C) 1996 Academic Pres s, Inc.
