P. Hoyer et al., PREPARATION OF REGULARLY STRUCTURED POROUS METAL MEMBRANES WITH 2 DIFFERENT HOLE DIAMETERS AT THE 2 SIDES, Thin solid films, 286(1-2), 1996, pp. 88-91
Using a two step replication process, porous gold or nickel films coul
d be obtained from anodic aluminum oxide films having two different ho
le diameters in its interior. The specifically tailored nanostructure
of the starting material could be replicated to form through-hole nick
el or gold membranes with an ordered linear structure having diameters
of either 120 nm or 40 nm on one side and 57 or 23 nm respectively on
the other side of the film.
