Abstract
Following our investigations into the complexing properties of 5-subst ituted 2-furfuraldoximes, we describe here the first complexes obtaine d from 5-nitro-2-furfuraldoxime (5-NO2-FDH or L) and 3d element dihali des, formulated as [ML(2)X(2)], [ML(3)X(2)] and [ML(4)X(2)] (M = Co, N i or Cu; X = Cl or Br). The structures are discussed on the basis of a nalytical, i.r. spectral data and thermal analysis.
