Abstract
In this paper previous study on the influence of frictional contact ef fects on velocity field [2], is extended to the case of blank thicknes s variation with respect to some parameters characterising the frictio n evolution law. The algorithm presented can be used in sheet metal fo rming for the thickness distribution optimisation.
