Abstract
We consider an elastic body formed by two adhering parts Omega(-) and Omega(+) and by an adhesive material Omega(m). We denote by epsilon d the thickness of the layer-filled by the adhesive and we suppose that the stiffness of the adhesive is of order epsilon with respect of thos e of the adhering parts. A weak and a strong convergence result are gi ven. We also find that the strongest singularity occurs in the boundar y layer in the adhesive. Furthermore, weak singularities (logarithmic) may also appear in the adhering parts.
