Abstract
The solutions within the mean-spherical and binding mean-spherical app roximations of the sticky-hard-sphere model for colloids and polyelect rolytes are discussed. It is shown that the excess thermodynamic funct ions-the internal energy E, and the entropy S-have the same simple for ms for all cases, and are functions of a single screening parameter Ga mma(T), which however depends on ail the sticky interactions.
