Abstract
The scattering of an electromagnetic plane wave from a cylinder with c ircular cross-section loaded periodically with groups of metallic annu lar rings along the longitudinal axes is analysed. The incident plane wave is arbitrarily polarised and impinges on the cylinder at an obliq ue incidence.
