Abstract
This paper gives a brief summary of some processes, direct and indirec
t, for the conversion of natural gas to useful products. It then proce
eds to give an outline of some work from the authors' laboratories on
subjects such as steam reforming, oxidative coupling and CO2 reforming
of methane, paying particular attention to the development of novel c
atalysts for these processes.
