Abstract
The complex [bis(8-quinolyloxyethyl)ether . H3+O](3)[La(NO3)(6)] has b een prepared and its structure has been determined by single-crystal X -ray diffraction. This compound represents an example of a hydronium i on complex with an acyclic bis(quinolyl)-terminated oligoether, which forms a counter ion for the complex anion [La(NO3)(6)](3-).
