Abstract
Femtosecond light pulses tunable from 600-760 nm are generated by freq uency doubling of an optical parametric oscillator in a Lithium Tribor ate crystal, The phase-matching bandwidth is shown to be the main limi tation for harmonic generation of fs-pulses, By a dispersive element t he phase-matching bandwidth and the conversion efficiency can be enhan ced.
