Abstract
Botulinum toxin injection is an effective treatment for spasmodic dysp honia. There are ethical difficulties in performing a controlled place bo trial to assess the effectiveness of this treatment. This paper sho ws a significantly decreased clinical response following technically p oor injections given to patients who respond well to good quality inje ctions.
