R. Luboradzki et al., CRYSTAL-STRUCTURE OF SUPRAMOLECULAR COMPLEXES FORMED BY 18-CROWN-6 AND CIS-ANTI-CIS-DICYCLOHEXANO-18-CROWN-6 (HOST) WITH 3,4-DIAMINOFURAZANE (GUEST), Journal of inclusion phenomena and molecular recognition in chemistry, 23(3), 1995, pp. 181-193
An X-ray-diffraction study is reported for two molecular complexes con
taining 3,4-diamino-1,2,5-oxadiazole as guest (G) with 18-crown-6 (18-
C-6) and cis-anti-cis-dicyclohexano-18-crown-6 (DCH-6B) as host. Both
complexes are of the polymeric-chain structure with the guest molecule
bridging two crown neighbours. Complex I: [18-C-6 G * H2O], 1:1:1,
monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 8.171(1), b = 15.042(2), c = 16.209(6) Angstr
om, beta = 101.15(2)degrees, final R-factor 0.068. Complex II: [DCH-6B
G], 1:1, monoclinic C2/c, a = 21.212(4), b = 9.380(2), c = 13.049(3
) A, beta = 108.61(3)degrees, final R 0.047.
