Abstract
The name Ramoconidiifera is proposed for a new genus of hyphomycetes, with a single species, R. verrucosa. It is characterized by black effu se sporodochia, macronematous conidiophores, conidiogenous cells with several percurrent proliferations and branched brown septate cheiroid conidia in which the apical cells of the arms are verrucose. The genus is compared with other fungi having similar conidia.
