Abstract
The self-collisional shift of the aP(6,0) and aP(6,1) lines of the inf rared v(2) ammonia band was measured as a function of temperature in t he range 200-400 K. In agreement with theoretical predictions, the shi ft goes from negative (red shift) to positive (blue shift) with increa sing temperature. Such a result must be taken into account in modellin g the temperature dependence of pressure shift. Copyright (C) 1996 Els evier Science Ltd
