V. Makhov et al., TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF CROSS-LUMINESCENCE CHARACTERISTICS IN CSCL AND CSBR IN THE 20-300-K RANGE, Radiation effects and defects in solids, 135(1-4), 1995, pp. 847-852
Crossluminescence characteristics of CsCl and CsBr crystals were studi
ed in the temperature range 20-300 K under excitation by synchrotron r
adiation with photon energies 13-20 eV. Temperature dependences of par
ameters of high-energy bands in crossluminescence spectra of both crys
tals show sharp changes at temperature T < 100 K. Data are analyzed on
the basis of the hypothesis of coexistence in the crystal of differen
t states of core hole separated by an activation barrier.
