Abstract
Description is given of the ''Zodiak'' project concept for the investi gation of the kinematic and thermodynamic structure of tropical cyclon es (TCs) with the use of ''section'' and ''drift'' techniques implemen ted with the help of an experimental rocket and space complex (RSC). T he composition, characteristics, and functioning scheme of the RSC are presented,and the main principles of the experiment planning methodol ogy are outlined.
