Abstract
The frequent occurrence of degenerative joint disease following comple te or partial meniscectomy is well recognized. Meniscal repair has bee n shown to lead to a lower prevalence of degenerative changes in the k nee. Arthroscopically assisted inside-to-outside meniscal repair is a safe, reproducible technique for salvaging the torn meniscus.
