Abstract
The cyclic hexapeptides ferintoic acids A (1) and B (2) have been isol ated from cells of Microcystis aeruginosa harvested during a natural b loom of the toxic cyanobacterium. The structures of 1 and 2 were deter mined by a combination of spectroscopic analysis and chemical degradat ion.
