STANDARDS FOR TISSUE-BANKING, JUNE 1995 - BRITISH-ASSOCIATION-OF-TISSUE-BANKS

These general standards are intended to apply to the banking of all ty pes of tissue, where 'banking' incorporates donor selection, retrieval , processing, storage and distribution. They are the views of a divers e group of experienced practitioners of tissue banking. They are the m inimum standards considered necessary by these practitioners for the b anking of human tissue. These standards should be applied in conjuncti on with any additional recognized standards issued by national or legi slative bodies.
