R. Danielius et al., MATCHING OF GROUP VELOCITIES BY SPATIAL WALK-OFF IN COLLINEAR 3-WAVE INTERACTION WITH TILTED PULSES, Optics letters, 21(13), 1996, pp. 973-975
We demonstrate that, for tilted pulses, the contribution to group velo
city that is due to spatial walk-off can compensate for the group-velo
city mismatch in three-wave interactions. With 100-fs, 0.4-mu m pump p
ulses in P-barium berate, we obtained efficient parametric generation
of collinear superfluorescence tunable in the range from 0.456 to 3.25
mu m. (C) 1996 Optical Society of America.
