G. Gruhn et S. Colditz, INTERVAL MATHEMATICAL-METHODS IN-PROCESS ENGINEERING - FLEXIBILITY AND UNCERTAINTY, Chemieingenieurtechnik, 68(5), 1996, pp. 509-517
The goal of this article is to present novel approaches to mathematica
l modelling, simulation, and optimisation of process engineering proce
sses with regard to the treatment of design and control problems. Thes
e approaches are based on the applications of fundamental concepts of
interval mathematics and their adaptation to problems of process engin
eering.
