Abstract
Insertion of hydrogen into hexagonal tungsten bronzes, A(0.3)WO(3) (A = K, NH4 and Cs), was carried out using the ''hydrogen spill-over'' te chnique. In the hydrogen bronzes H(x)A(0.3)WO(3), the coefficients x = 0.3, 0.06 and 0.03, respectively, were found, and the diffusion coeff icients of hydrogen, D-H(m(2)/s) = 3.22 . 10(-16), 2.29 . 10(-17) and 2.50 . 10(-18) respectively, were stated for hydrogen absorption in th e absence of water.
