Kh. Lii, HYDROTHERMAL SYNTHESIS AND CRYSTAL-STRUCTURE OF NA3IN(PO4)(2), European journal of solid state and inorganic chemistry, 33(6), 1996, pp. 519-526
An In-III phosphate, Na3In(PO4)(2), has been synthesized by high-tempe
rature/high-pressure hydrothermal method acid characterized by single-
crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic
space group P2(l)/n with a = 5.1409(5), b = 18.197(2), c = 7.1355(7)
Angstrom, beta = 92.355(2)degrees, V = 667.0(2) Angstrom(3) and Z = 4.
The structure consists of large channels where the Na+ cations are lo
cated. The framework is built up from corner-sharing InO6 octahedra an
d PO4 tetrahedra.
