The effect of the polymerization conditions on the properties of poly( epsilon-caprolactam)-polybutadiene block copolymers prepared by polyme rization casting through anionic polymerization of epsilon-caprolactam initiated with potassium salt of epsilon-caprolactam in the presence of alpha,omega-dihydroxy-polybutadiene and isocyanates or their blocke d derivatives as functionalizing agents was investigated. The influenc e of the content of telechelic polybutadiene, its molecular weight, ty pe of diisocyanate, and polymerization temperature on the fundamental mechanical propel-ties of the prepared materials and on the polymeriza tion rate was evaluated.
