Ga. Askaryan et Iv. Sokolov, CUMULATION PROCESSES IN GRAVITATIONAL AND INERTIAL FORCE-FIELDS AND IN ZERO-GRAVITY, JETP letters, 63(9), 1996, pp. 786-789
The effect of gravitational and inertial forces an precision cumulatio
n of fast flaws of matter, bubbles, and detonation and shock waves is
studied. Possible effects on the motion of masses and waves, whose vel
ocity, direction, and structure change, and on the change in the prope
rties of the medium in front of waves, causing the parameters of the w
aves to change and giving rise to refraction, are noted. The advantage
s of doing experiments with precision cumulation in zero gravity are i
ndicated. (C) 1996 American Institute of Physics.
