Abstract
A novel limonoid of the havanensin class with six ester functions has been isolated from the root bark of Turraea floribunda and characteriz ed by spectroscopic methods as 11 beta-acetoxy-3,7-diacetyl-4 alpha-ca rbomethoxy-12 alpha-isobutyryloxy-28-nor-1-tigloyl-havanensin.
