Abstract
The SEC-MALLS techniques, together with an alternative method for data treatment, are used to determine actual DP distributions of the cellu lose of southern African Acala 1517/70 cotton lint. This alternative a pproach offers the possibility of exhaustive statistical analyses of a cquired data, previously not possible. The results of these analyses s how the influence of production area and year on variations in Dp dist ributions of the cellulose of South African cotton lint.
