Abstract
The full optimization structure pf model compound ArOArCOArArCOArOAr i s presented with average dihedral angle of 37.5 degrees. Based on this , the molecular structure is related to the melting point and glass tr ansition for poly(aryl ether ketone)s and poly(aryl ether sulphone)s f amily with rigid molecular chain. The obtained relationship between th em is well extended to predict the heat properties of the new family o f aromatic homopolymers.
