Abstract
Delta M curves have been measured on both randomly and perpendicularly oriented barium ferrite thin films. Compared with theoretical simulat ions, the shape and peak values of the Delta M curves suggest that the intergranular exchange interaction in sputtered BaM thin films is neg ligible. This is similar to the case of oxide particulate media even t hough the sputtered films are much denser structurally.
