Abstract
A method for the evaluation of the condition of a plume and real-time control of its parameters is proposed. The method is based on probe me asurements of the magnetic field generated by a laser plasma, The poss ibility of the utilization of electromagnetic diagnostics for effectiv e control of the target surface condition during pulsed laser depositi on is experimentally demonstrated.
