Abstract
The morphology of chromophore rich nanometer scale domains in binary h omopolymer blends is studied, both in bulk systems and in ultra thin f ilms. For each situation, a different experimental technique is applie d. Electronic excitation transport (EET) studies are used to character ize the formation of amorphous nanodomains in the bulk, while transmis sion electron micrsocsopy (TEM) is used to observe nanocrystaline doma ins in ultra thin films.
