Abstract
A radiation keratosis occurred in a woman who wore a radioactive gold ring forty-three years ago. Clinicians should be aware that not all '' warty lesions'' on the hands are actinic keratosis, seborrheic keratos is, or warts. Radioactive gold rings still exist. Diagnosis requires a high index of suspicion, since patients may no longer be wearing the offending ring.
