Abstract
Although hydatid disease has been reported in almost all human tissues , cardiac involvement is uncommon. The authors report a case of cardia c hydatid disease presenting with cardiac tamponade. The diagnostic va lue of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, computed to mography, and angiography in hydatid heart disease is also discussed.
