Abstract
The electronic bands structure and density of states of zinc-blende Cu Cl, CuBr and CuI have been computed using the tight-binding method. Th ese band structures have been used to calculate the valence and conduc tion band effective masses. The results are compared with other calcul ated and experimental values.
