Abstract
The electro-optic coefficients were measured using a sensitive modulat ion technique for urea single crystals. IR and Raman studies have been carried out to identify the molecules NH2, NCN and C=O vibrational fr equencies. The dielectic measurements have been made using the bridge method. It is found that the dielectric constant and dielectric loss d ecrease with increasing frequency.
