ASTROMETRIC OBSERVATIONS OF THE FAINT OUTER SATELLITES OF JUPITER DURING THE 1994 AND 1995 OPPOSITIONS

We present astrometric positions for the faint outer satellites of Jup iter VI-XIII during the 1994 and 1995 oppositions. These positions hav e been obtained from measurements of photographic plates taken with th e 2.1 m Otto Struve reflector and from wide field CCD frames taken wit h the 0.76 m reflector. Both telescopes are located at McDonald Observ atory. The new CCD-based instrumentation and astrometric reduction sys tem is described. (C) 1996 American Astronomical Society.
