Furfural lignocellulose represents a secondary raw material for many a
pplications. Flame-resistant and thermostable polymers have been obtai
ned by the reaction of furfural lignocellulose or nitrated and aminate
d lignocellulose with dichloride of phenoxyphosphonic acid. The produc
ts obtained have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and atom
ic emission spectroscopy, electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, calo
rimetry, thermo-oxidative destruction and flame behaviour.
