Abstract
In the crystal structure of [Cu(C16H26N6O3)] (NO3)(2), the metal ion l ies in an elongated octahedral coordination. Only the four secondary a mine N atoms of the macrocycle are bound to the Cu2+ centre which resi des 0.080(1) Angstrom out of the N-4 donor plane. The coordination sph ere is completed by two nitrate O atoms axially coordinated with diffe rent Cu-O distances.
