Abstract
Controlled transformation rate thermal analysis (CRTA) is applied to t he kinetic study of the thermal dehydration in vacuum of Wyoming montm orillonite. The release of water molecules takes place through success ive diffusion processes and the Arrhenius parameters increase during t he course of the dehydration reaction.
